An Interesting Opportunity by Chevrolet to Three Students

Chevrolet is now among the largest selling car brands having business transactions in above 140 countries in the world. To introduce its 2015 Corvette Z06 Convertible, before its reveal, the Chevrolet gave three college students an opportunity to shoot the all-new vehicle. The inexperienced students had a single day for creating four dramatic images of the supercar. The public can vote for the best gallery and the photographer receiving most votes for his gallery will receive $5,000. Only one gallery out of the three can win. The three lucky students who had this opportunity are:

2015 Corvette Z06 Convertible

Mike Finkelstein, 23, Pratt Institute

This guy is graduating the current spring from Pratt Institute in fine art photography. For the Z06 shoot, to bring the car new look, an innovative; Finkelstein chose traditional techniques.

Nico Sforza, 22, School of Visual Arts

Another student, Sforza, studying still-life photography, belongs to the School of Visual Arts in New York. He came with a concept for this shoot to portray birth of a new car, coming out of a ray of light.

Dan Wang, 22, Rochester Institute of Technology

Mr. Wang is studying advertising photography and is a senior at the Rochester Institute of Technology. Wang shot some aesthetically lifelike Z06 photos with a goal in mind as to portray how the vehicle would look like on the roads.

Voting is scheduled to be open to public through Tuesday, April 23, 2014. Immediately after voting, on Wednesday, April 24, the winner will be announced. The New York Auto Show will display the entire student galleries from April 18 to 27.
