Honda’s Cycling Partnership with UK

A World Class cycling partnership has been announced with The Tour of Britain, The Halfords Tour Series and World Champion Ed Clancy. Honda has also become the official car partner for The Tour of Britain and this is famed as UK’s premier professional cycle race. This takes place during September and also draws in a lot of spectators every single year. There is a 50-fleet strong support of vehicles that is made up of Cr-V’s and Swindown built Civics which allows low emission and makes it a hybrid. This is especially used for proper types of route planning , marketing and more when the cycle race actually takes place.

Honda is also quite pleased about their new partnership with Ed Clancy. He is well known for his victory while taking Omnium Gold and also giving britan her 3rd Gold in Track Cycling World Championship. He drives a Civic Type R will now be the face for Honda’s tour of Britain throughout entire summer.

Also to rope in an extensive range of other types of cycling associations, Honda has decided to team up with Halfords Tour Series where a city centre race provides some kind of support to all race organizers.

We are delighted to continue working with the organisers of The Tour of Britain and Halfords Tour Series to deliver an exciting series of cycling events this summer. These associations will provide a great opportunity for our network of dealers to engage with their local communities through a positive, family-orientated sport’, said Sarah Fowler, Partnerships and Community Relations Manager for Honda (UK).
