Tony Lommi was initially a jazz guitarist who suffered partial amputation of his fingers while working in a sheet metal factory as a teenager. The ‘remote’ factor is common when we review the developments in Artillery, missiles, rockets and Fighter Planes. The World Wars increase the need for more accurate and fast attacks and retaliations. The war planes proved more versatile and offered better scope of hitting enemy targets well within its borders. This sector received more attention and developed faster. The successful Fighter Planes developed in last 60 or 70 years are being reviewed limiting to the top 10. The assessment criteria differ and so does the opinion.

Supermarine Spitfire – 1938

The Supermarine Spitfire was manufactured by the British during the 2nd World War. The Royal Air Force and the Allied forces used it extensively. The design was extremely adaptable. This fighter was designed by R. J. Mitchell at the Supermarine Aviation Works. The maximum speed achievable was 250 mph with the 600 horse power Rolls-Royce engine.

Spitfire under went many design changes. The single spar blade was changed to three blade propeller. The engines were also modified for more stable running. It was equipped with 0.303-inch two machine guns with 300 round each, besides a variety of bombs.

The single seat Spitfire was produced in great numbers at two plants to meet the air force demand. The fighter had sight edge over its main adversary the German Luftwaffe in some aspects while showed some short comings. Still the overall performance was satisfactory that helped counter attacks. Spitfire remained in service till around 1950’s.

Mustang P 51 – 1941

The North American Aviation manufactured the Mustang P51. The fighter became available to the Allied forces by mid of World War II. This single seat long range fighter was mainly used as escort for the bombers over Germany.  Mustang proved more economical, durable and faster aircraft. The 12 cylinder engines were built by Packard on Rolls-Royce pattern.

The P51s were armed with Browning six 0.5 inch machine guns besides bombs. The British ordered 320 NA-73 fighters and found them more suitable for reconnaissance and tactical ground attack duties. It could only fly higher than 15000 feet after modifications, which increased the horse power to1700, speed to435 mph and flight ceiling to 25000 feet. Mustang became highly acknowledged aircraft. In all about 15000 P51s were built. They destroyed 5000 enemy aircraft in Europe.

MIG 21 (Fishbed C) – 1959

MIG 21 is a supersonic jet fighter built by Mikoyan Gurevich Design Bureau in the Soviet Union. The predecessors were MIG 15, 17 and 19 were all short range interceptors. MIG 21 series was Russian first major production range that became popular among other countries too.

The initial proto types were short lived. The missiles attached failed the objective. However, many modifications improved a lot and became a formidable aircraft. The delta wing design made it dual purpose fighter and interceptor. Its speed capability of Mach 2 exceeds that of many latest fighters in the world.

MIG 21 now leads the production figures becoming the most produced combat supersonic aircraft with the longest production period. The total production of MIG 21s accedes 10000 and were adopted by about 50 countries.

Super Hornet F18 – 1983

Super Hornet is a supersonic fighter and attack aircraft. It is advanced and larger than the original hornet and is also carrier capable. The production began in 1995 and induced in the U.S. Navy in 1999. Super Hornet undergone many variations but main design features were maintained like the avionics, armament mission computer software and maintenance procedures.

The super version is four feet longer, has larger wing area and is capable of carrying 30% more fuel that increases its range by about one-third. The F18 takes a variety of weapons payload including the ‘smart’ weapons and air-to-air and air-to-ground rockets. It incorporates versatile radar to control delivery systems. The aerial refueling system is included. Top speed is 2145 km/h.

F 86 Sabre – 1949

Sabre F86 was made by North American Aviation. The fighter was designed for day time operations. The swept wing feature provided better versatility to be used as an escort fighter for the bombers. This could also be used as a dive bomber by itself. This all weather fighter was used extensively in large numbers by America in the Korean War successfully against its superior MIG 15. Large scale production of F86 began after the World War II. The original model under went many improvements.

The engine was also modified to powerful Turbojet that increased its speed, the height ceiling and the climb rate almost doubled besides other changes. Its top speed was rated at 1100 km/h. with a range increased to 870 km. Sabre F86 could carry 16 “High Velocity Air Rockets”, besides the installed machine guns. There was an option to either carry two 782 liter fuel drop tanks or two 450 kg bombs under the wings. However, without the fuel drop tanks its range shortened from 530 km to 80 km.

Saber F86 proved the most successful fighter of the west and all the versions put together come to about 10000 units produced till 1956.

Messerschmidt ME109 – 1937

The ME109 was manufactured by the German Messerschmitt AG. This fighter is world renowned for proving the best in the World War II. The greatest fighter pilots chose to fly this, admittedly an unsafe and uncomfortable plane. The combat record of ME109 is the best through out the war. The German WWII top scorers who flew ME109 are: Erich Hartman (352 victories), Gerhard Barkhorn (301 victories) and Gunther Rall (275 victories).

The total production of this rugged fighter was 34000 units including all versions or around 60% of all German aircraft produced. This was succeeded by Focke Wulf Fw. The aircraft was planned as an interceptor but it proved its versatility and was used for every kind of service that the war demanded. It employed retractable landing gear, a feature of modern aircraft.

Harrier Jump Jet (AV-8B Harrier II) – 1985

The Jump Jet was produced in Britain that proved very successful from other similar competitors. This fighter plane is designed for vertical and short take-off. The Harrier family is majorly extended to four main versions: Hawker Siddeley Harrier, Sea Harrier for maritime defense, Boeing/BAE Systems AV-8B Harrier II and BAE Systems/Boeing Harrier II.

The first prototype was made in 1960. The aircraft is in service in many countries including America. This has proved very versatile but reportedly it is very difficult to pilot. It is very sophisticated and needs extraordinary skill and systems understanding.

The fighter is armed with cannons and various air to air missiles. It can carry large amount of stores on its six under wing hard points. The top speed of this reconnaissance and support fighter is 1000 km/h.

Mitsubishi Zero-Sen (A6M2) – 1937

Mitsubishi Zero-Sen was manufactured in Japan by Mitsubishi Jukogyo &Nakajima. This was designed as a shipboard fighter but its abilities proved far greater. The fighter outmaneuvered almost all other fighters and interceptors existing. A6M2 was used extensively in all military engagements in the pacific and proved most successful Japanese combat plane. Its long range of 1930 miles with drop-tank was a big surprise to the American forces also. The top speed was 533 km/h.

Mitsubishi Zero-Sen was installed with 20mm cannons and two 7.7mm guns besides bombs. The American pilots were warned to score the hit at first chance and avoid a turn around with A6M2. One plane was shot down over Pearl Harbor and retrieved to understand the mechanism. This helped improve American fighter designs.

Fokker Triplane DR 1 – 1917

Fokker DR 1 was built by Fokker Flugzeugwerke. This triple wing plane was one of the first air fight experiments and was redesigned in the prototype stages. The final design was known as the DR 1. This plane had open cockpit for one pilot only. Two machine guns were fitted that could fire through the propeller without hitting blades.

Fokker DR 1 was considered a better option to other planes during the World War I. this was better maneuverable having a smaller frame. The most famous pilot, Manfred, von Richthofen is said to make his 80 victories. Only 320 DR 1s were made with top speed of 185 km/h.

Stealth Fighter F117 – 1983

The F117 was developed by Lockheed Martin. The single seat Night Hawk stealth Fighter was designed for low fight over enemy ground. It was only used in night time missions being invisible to radar. These highly maneuverable planes totaled 59 in service before after 2008. F117 body was made of mainly aluminum and titanium. The surface and edges were shaped to reflect radar waves, while the outer surface was coated with Radar- Absorbent Material (RAM).

The F117 uses FLIR and DLIR laser designator systems for navigation instead of radar. This one seat plane is fully remote control with manual control option. It is equipped with a variety of laser-guided bombs and missiles. These are being replaced by more advanced F22 Raptor and F35 Lightening II. F117 had a top speed of 1040 km/h.

He was a renowned player since his high school days. He was a wonderful tough hard hitter. His great and fearless tremendous hitting capacity earned him a nickname of “Lights Out” when still in school. Ronald Mandel Lott (Ronnie Lott)

He is a super hitter born in Albuquerque, New Mexico. His career started in 1981 when first picked San Francisco 49ers. He was a good player when playing at left cornerback back position. He later asked to change to safety position which proved a better decision. He is renowned for winning honours while playing at all positions at safety, free safety and cornerback.

Adjustment in different positions always creates problems but he managed them well. He also records over 100 tackles five times. He was the leading scorer in interceptions twice in 1986 and 1991. In four Super Bowl seasons he made 63 career best interceptions for 730 yards and managed 5 TDs to his credit. He was a great player liked by all and well appreciated country wide. He played for 49ers from 1981- 1990. Then shifted to Raiders from 1993-1994 and was finally with Jets from 1993 to 1994.

Brian Dawkins

Brian Dawkins is much smaller in height, but this short fellow is ranked one of the best hitters in his weight category in the League. He is a fantastic player and is too fast to give anyone a chance. The players running back were only wasting energy and were sure to get jacked up by fast reacting dwarfy Dawkins. His most prominent aim was to get opponents jacked up. This was his best and usual feature through out his career. He was Denver Bronco at 35 years of age.

Walter Jerry Payton

Walter Payton was first round pick draft in 1975. He became a super star all rounder all on his own efforts. He is very well known for his rushing and was considered a good runner throughout his career. He used his good speed to astonish his colleagues and opponents alike. He retired as an all time ‘rushing’ leader.

He played using good techniques. He maintains a rushing record in single game of 275 yards. His best has been at 77 games with over 100 yards rushing. He has 110 TDs rushing to his credit. He was born in the year 1954 in Columbia, lived a rushing career and died in 1999 at 45 years.

Ray Lewis

Ray Lewis had been playing NFL league for a long career standing. He was tried at different positions in the matches successfully. He finally attained his most suited position and best performance as a premier defensive player and continued for the last 10 years. He possesses a huge figure and is a very fast runner. Dick Butkus

Dick Butkus remained part of the Chicago Bears from 1965 to 1973. He was there favourite great player as middle linebacker. His game technique was frightening to the opponent players. He wore number 51 on his suit. He came rushing down and dashing out to the opponents, leaving facemark memories on their faces. Butkus was 6’ 3” tall and weighed 245lbs. He was a first round draft pick by Bears in 1965. He remained an 8 times All-Pro. He was lucky and made Pro Bowl every year in the league.

His 25 fumble recoveries is a standing record in NFL. He fully deserved this record and is definitely proud of. Each season he averaged 120 tackles. He ferociously knocked many balls loose. For eight continuous years this giant rushed like a bull pushing hard at who ever came his way. He played very accurately every move that is in the book on linebacking and seemed to excel it. He suffered a knee injury that cut short his career. He is remembered through a prestigious Dick Butkus Award that is given to the nation’s best linebacker every year. A spectacular career legacy, that keeps his outstanding performance fresh in the minds of the new entrants. Butkus was also proclaimed first- ballot Hall of Famer, entering Canton in 1979.

Mike Curtis

Mike Curtis was with Duke when he was drafted out by Baltimore Colts in the first round of 1965 NFL. He played for some time at fullback. His commitment to defend was appreciated by the team coaches who tried him as linebacker to show his aggressive qualities to the fullest. He is very well known as the “mad dog” for being a steadfast defender and intimidating tackler. He is a big man 6’ 3” tall and weighs 232lbs. a fierce interceptor in the field always pushing his team mates to play for a decisive out come.

Deacon Jones

Deacon Jones remained obscure and was draft pick of Los Angeles Rams. He secured his defensive stance by revolutionizing the defense techniques. Soon he had specialized and was called the ‘secretary of defense’. He was a hefty 6’ 5” tall and weighed 252 lbs. he was considered too fast for his size. By his fantastic agility he improved as an impressive pass rusher, hard hitting his opposing quarter backs. He punched the new title of ‘quarter back sack’ on to his name. Though unofficial, this sacking record stood over 170 till his retirement in 1974.

Jones had devised and perfected his head-slap move that now stand outlawed by the league. He totals 8 Pro Bowls and five first team All-Pro honours in his career. He attained the Hall of Fame in 1980. He had been traded off to San Diego Chargers in 1972 to 1973 and then joined Washington Redskins in 1974.

John Lynch

John Lynch comes from Stanford University and was selected in the third round draft in 1973 by Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He was a league member. He was part of the victory for Buccaneers against Oakland Raiders in Super Bowl. He played all over the field recklessly and was very prominent in the game. He pursued an aggressive style. A lynch was 9 time Pro Bowl and achieved all pro honours on four occasions.

He was considered his own class and confidently among the very top most. He was initially with Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 1993 to 2003 and with Denver Broncos from 2004 to 2007.

The silent film era was a unique experience in itself. The dialogues help to retain the attention of the audience. Birth of a Nation (1915)

Birth of a Nation is directed by D. W. Griffith. This silent film is roughly three hours long. The viewers like it despite the length and stay completely absorbed from the beginning to the end. This civil war time movie is seemingly divided in two phases. The story is about two families each living in north and south zones. The circumstances lead these friends to fight for the opposite sides in the war. The scenes picturized at the country side are very near to being realistic. The costumes match the civil war day pattern and the support atmosphere carries a fantastic resemblance to the old era, literally reviving the old memories of the time. The actors are portrayed black faced suiting the characters they resemble.

The second half of the silent movie shows the reconstruction process after the war. The alarming and the awesome scenes of the war make the film a master piece keeping the audience completely engulfed in the events shown. The Lincoln’s assassination is very realistically picturized depicting very similar surroundings. Both the lead characters Mae Marsh and Henry B. Walthall looked more dashing and beautiful than they actually are. The musical backup of the events was excellent, playing the original civil war time tunes. The silent film is one of the best.

The Dragon Painter (1919)

This silent film is based on a Japanese fairy tale. A brilliant artist, Tatsu lives in the mountains and is commonly known as the ‘Dragon Painter’. The artist is dressed in tattered clothes and only paints dragons in the hope to find his ‘Enchanted Princess’ who has been turned into a dragon by the spirits a 1000 years age.

A master artist in Tokyo lives with his only daughter and happens to be looking for an artist assistant who could further his family traditions. The two master artists are introduced to each other but the single minded is only interested in his Princess to come to life. Then Tatsu observes the master’s daughter resembles his dream princess and vouches to become apprentice only after marrying his daughter. The old master agrees and the practical life pursuits start for Tatsu. He now has to learn the talent again beyond dragon princess.

The film has been much appreciated on the whole as entertaining and beautifully screened. The jungle scenes and the tinted print offers enchanting fantasy atmosphere. The emotions within add a romantic touch to the story.

Stella Maris (1918)

The theme of this film is intelligently chosen. The story rotates around two ’look alike’ girls of about the same age, but living in almost different and opposite social exposure.

Stella Maris is a beautiful girl of a well to do family. She avails all comforts of life but is paralyzed since childhood and lives in a dream world, totally cut-off from the real outside world. Her companion is a Teddy dog along with all types of dolls and toys.

Unity Blake is the other ugly looking girl housed in a London orphanage. A woman adopts Unity from the orphanage and takes home. Unity finds the woman is a drunkard woman and probably wanted a house servant. Her husband, John Risca introduces himself to bed-ridden Stella as a princely guy living in a castle and is unmarried. Stella starts loving him.

One day some naughty street boys snatch the night meal from Unity, who is then thrashed by the woman as she reaches home. The woman is jailed for three years while John adopts Unity to compensate the injustice done to her. Stella is able to walk after a lucky surgical operation. She walks beyond the door and peeps outside to find misery, hunger and crime in abundance. By coincidence both Stella and Unity love John. But he only loves Stella and also that he cannot separate himself from his old wife who is released from prison and lives alone.

The dream story is filmed fantastically turning the circumstances quite realistically. The costumes and the makeup is the best. The beautiful Stella in contrast to Unity, the ugly duckling with small eyes, darkened teeth and untidy lifestyle.

Peter Pan (1924)

The Peter Pan film is based on a fantasy play by J. M. Barrie. The opening scene is a nursery where Nana nurse, a big dog gets three nice children, Wendy, John and Michael, who are now ready to go to bed. Form the bedside window they see a boy, Peter Pan looking for his shadow with a moving light ball, Tinker bell. Peter Pan wants to stay young to enjoy life forever. They become friends and Pan offers to teach flying and take them to the Never Never Land for Wendy to pose mother and tell stories to the Lost Boys there. The make believe forest is full of pirates, red skins and friendly mermaids. Jealous Tinker prompts the lost boys to kill Wendy. Wendy is saved and the boys build a house for her. They play fantasy games and Wendy tells the boys stories.

Peter cuts the hand of evil captain Cook and fed it to the crocodile. The revenging pirates attack the children. Back home the children’s mother is very sad and waiting for her own children’s return.

The fantasy portraying and landscaping is tremendous. The special effects on fantasy charm are engulfing. A beautiful entertainment film on the whole.

A Trip to the Moon (1902)

This is the hard work of George Melies, who is a known pioneer of fantasy films and proves his best. He was a professional magician and used his techniques to produce a very memorable film.

His fantastic astronauts reach the moon by magical flight. They walk and enjoy the trip in ordinary clothes and sleep in blankets in the cold. The stars bearing human faces peep on them joyfully astonished. The moon creatures are converted into smoke puffs by the magic of Melies.

October (1927)

This film was a master piece by Sergei Eisenstein. It is based on the October Revolution in Russia. People also recall it as Ten Days that Shook the World. The Soviet Union sponsored this film to commemorate the Tenth anniversary of the October Revolution. The legendary director made tremendous efforts for this master piece as assigned by the Russian Government. All history was recreated in detail to recall the events as they happened. The party policy is vivid, but the main credit goes to the director as to how he used the unlimited resources in the best way. A real good experimentation completed.

The film was made at the actual locations in Petrograd (renamed Leningrad/ Stalingrad and St. Petersburg). The film gathers great appreciation by special featuring of the ‘Storming of the actual Winter Palace’. The director proved his worth by producing the film according to the expectations of the sponsorers.

City lights (1931)

The film represents the Chaplin super mark. He is the producer, director, music composer, editor and the lead role actor. He is known for his perfection and in this particular film he achieved it to the utmost high. This film took three years to complete and was released in 1931. Reportedly Chaplin was not satisfied with certain aspects of the stage and shut down production till the proper solution was found. This shows his commitment to his profession. The laughter that results from his acts, even decades after is because of the perfect fine tuning of his actions through excellent editing.
The film is about a blind girl surrounded in unfavorable social conditions. The humor starts at the opening dedication ceremony scene where things get mixed up and messed up that ends in the funniest boxing match full of laughter and humorous scenes. No doubt Chaplin is at his best.

This film by Charles Chaplin ranks among the top. This is about the western civilization and their economic and social setup. He humorously takes on the authority figures defying their policies. A few scenes are really amazing like a diabolic feeding machine. In another one the labor union is seen catching in on him as he picks up a dropped flag of the construction company. The beauty lies in his silent, tactical and typical movements that keep the attention of the audience in tact.

The Passion of Joan of Arc (1928)

The film is renowned for its extraordinary photography in Dutch style. The lead actress Maria Falconetti’s extreme passionate acting is another landmark of the film. In the crying scene the tear streaks on the face with intense absorbing feelings were so pronounced and deep that the actress never acted again. There is much more in the film.

Red Lily (1924)

This film is full of emotions and sad feelings. The scene opens in a small village in Britain. Jean Marline liked and loved each other since childhood. The girl’s father dies. She being alone moves to her relatives, who are poor and unfriendly. The family was a drunkard father, wife and many children. The drunkard man tries to whip to seduce the girl who is forced to flee to her old home and unites with Jean. They go to Paris to live their. The shear hard luck they lose each other and separate again. The film reveals their individual experiences there after in the vast crime ridden city of Paris.

His series like “Foundation” and “Fantastic Voyage” and the rest has been widely accepted by the world and is even read profusely today. He has written science fictions through his entire life creating a really wide span production of smooth flowing and even the most bone chilling science fiction stories. His great insights into a futuristic world brought him to create the stories like “I, Robot”, “The Bicentennial Man” and “The Last Question”. These famed stories have even been turned into great motion pictures. He has written over 19 series of short stories that produced about 284 short stories in all.

4. Ray Bradbury:

This great writer wrote some of the most amazing science fiction short stories and dystopic novels as well. He had the curios habit of writing a story a day, a ritual that many writers have followed since. He has been the great composer of over 400 stories in all. He has 40 short story collections to his name. He is overall, one of the greatest science fiction writers the world has ever known. His stories and world view remains as valid today, even through his strange cynicism and dystopic observations, as they were during his times. He has also written several novellas but it is not really the quantity on his list but the quality of his work that has earned him immense success and popularity. The short story, “A Sound of Thunder” has been known to be one of his most famed creations, with the theme of “butterfly effect” being famously introduced to people through his intense and unique origination. His works have been one of the most famed science fiction works being republished in the history of publication.

5. Stephen King:

Stephen King has his followers in America and in the rest of the world. He has been a prolific writer and enjoys one of the greatest fan bases as a writer. He has written a great number of short stories with over 8 story collections with about 124 short stories. He has about 17 Novellas written in his career. His accolades include winning the O. Henry Award in 1996 as well as being the editor of the Best American Short Stories of 2007. About 35 of his creations have been made into famous movies. These happen to include his works like “1408”, “The Mist” and “Hearts in Atlantis”. King remains one of the most influencing writers of our times.

6. J.D. Salinger:

Though J.D. Salinger has been known best for his novel “Catcher in the Rye”, he had originally been the writer of several short stories. Though they do not come to be as famed as his existential novel, the stories remain widely read across the world. His story collections include “Frannie and Zoey”, “Nine Stories”, “Raise High the Roof Beams, Carpenters” and “Seymour: An Introduction”. He has also had 24 other uncollected short stories which have made considerable influence in the world. Salinger remains to be one of the most loved and famous writers of all times.

7. O. Henry:

Famous for his great twists in the course of an ordinary tales, O. Henry brought about a higher philosophy in the viewing of the ordinary and everyday. His stories have been honored throughout the world and the most prestigious awards given to a writer is after his name. His most well known stories include “The Last Leaf” and “The Gift of the Magi”. His stories have been told and retold in several languages and they have been so famous that they remain as living metaphors themselves, without any introduction being required. The magic of his stories remain in the fact that they can be related by all despite age, origin, culture, sex, etc.

8. John Updike:

John Updike remains as one of the most famed writers of all times. Though originating from America, his works are celebrated and read all over the world. He has earned some very important awards of all times including the Rea Award, the PEN/Falkner award, the O. Henry award and the like. His total accolades and recognition titles cross over 30. His last collection was known as “Tears of My Father” that got published in June 2009, about six months after his death. John Updike remains as one of the most gifted writers of all times with over 150 short stories to his credit.

9. F Scott Fitzgerald:

Fitzgerald wrote novels as well as short stories with most of his works reflecting the jazz age orientation. He has been known to be a member of the Lost Generation of the 20s producing great works in observation to the war and the age ravaged by the war, making him one of the most sensitive writers of all times.

1 – Nyotaimori

This place is located in Japan and as the name suggests the restaurant is not for the faint hearted. What is outrageous about the restaurant is the way they serve their food. They serve sushi and some other Japanese favorites inside the mould of a naked woman’s body. How you get to the food is by operating on the body with a knife and as you cut it open the skin seems to bleed and you get to eat whatever you find inside the portion you cut!

2 – D.S. Musical Restaurant

This is located in Taipei and the entire theme of the place is the hospital. The clinching work of bizarre idea is the way they serve their drinks there – through an IV needle like drip. Waiters and waitresses are all dressed as doctors and nurses and there are wheelchairs for chairs.

This restaurant is also located in Taipei. The theme of the place is the bathroom. People sit on toilet seats and enjoy a yummy meal. The tables are bathtubs and the plates on which food is served are the Loo seats of the western world. Thankfully, the place doesn’t stink!

4 – Ithaa

This is actually quite a beautiful restaurant which is located in The Maldives. The beauty of the place lies in the fact that it is located deep under the Indian Ocean. Diners get to eat while watching different sea creatures in the water along with the beautiful coral reef. It is actually the first of this kind in the whole world. Only most might not want to order sea food while they watch a few others float by!

5 – Cabbages and Condoms

This is a funny name to a very funny themed restaurant, located in Thailand. The basic theme of the place is condom. So there are condoms all over the wall and bloated condoms worn as hats by waiters. The food thankfully is quite normal yet the after mints served here are actually a plate of condoms!

6 – Dinner in the Sky

This again is one of the first of its kind – a restaurant in the sky located in Belgium. There is however a limited number of people who can dine there at once and all the chairs along with the long table are lifted up in the air by a crane. Here of course, you don’t get to reuse the fork you drop!

This restaurant is actually quite a sight, located in New Zealand. It’s literally built in a tree in a dome shape and has a pretty forest surrounding. The food is normal and the only thing is that one gets to eat along with the birds and the bees.

The bizarreness of this restaurant located in Italy lies in its location. The place is located inside a prison, a top security fortress. 9 – Dark Restaurant

This is one really bizarre restaurant located in China. The restaurant is completely set in darkness and you would not even be able to find your seats had it not been for the waiters who wear night vision goggles. You eat dinner in complete darkness and one can’t even use a cell phone or torch, they are all prohibited!

This is one of the most unusual spots to dine in, on a sand bar along the Jamaican coast. The place looks absolutely ramshackle and dilapidated and the food needs to be ordered from before and brought from the shore by boat. However one gets to enjoy a private dinner in a clear blue ocean.

The theme of this restaurant located in India is – Graveyard. The restaurant is actually built over an old Muslim cemetery and the restaurant owner has kept all the graves as they were only painting them bright green which makes them resemble coffins. The theme of this restaurant in Lebanon is Hezbollah. Your beef sandwich that you ordered might be named AK-47 and the French bread might be served along with a grenade. Diners experience a complete battle-field atmosphere with the chefs dressed in camouflage and helmets and with rifle and gunfire music playing throughout your meal. You meal is bound to be one big Boom!

This restaurant located in San Francisco, America is Bizarre because of the kind of entertainment the place provides. Actually most regular diners too never know what kind of entertainment they might be treated to. The theme is more relaxing actually than bizarre, located in Miami.
