Nathan Drake is on the hunt of an artifact said to hold mysterious powers. He has taken on this quest on behest of his friend, Harry, and wherever Nathan goes, trouble follows. Uncharted 2 has sold around 5 million copies worldwide and continues to be revered and almost worshipped by PS3 fans for being a complete game.
Oh almost forgot! Uncharted series is exclusive to PS platform and enjoys metacritic rating of 9.5/10.
Uncharted 3 Drakes Deception
Uncharted 3 Drakes Deception faced the same dilemma PS3 faced. The expectations were far too high from this particular episode because of its predecessor, and where some would say that Drakes Deception didn’t fully deliver, there would always be others who would say it’s just as magical as among thieves. As per my opinion, the game offers some serene shooting sequences with equally terrific hand to hand combat and take downs.
The new tweaked combat system encourages the players to strategize their tactics in combat and the voice acting is simply superb. The only flaws, which mar the experience a bit, are slightly flawed AI and no new innovation in plat forming. Leaving these aspects aside, I say, the developers have done justice to the series by delivering this thrill of a ride, fast paced adventure to ‘Uncharted’ series lovers.

According to latest statistics, Uncharted 3 has so far sold around 3.8 million copies worldwide and currently enjoys the metacritic rating of 9/10. Only .5 behind among thieves, but still not bad by any standards!
Metal Gear Solid 4 Guns of Patriots
Helmed by Hideo Kojima Metal Gear Solid 4 Guns of Patriots is a perfect amalgamation of storytelling, awesome shooting mechanics and unparalleled stealth mechanics which simply leave the gamers out of breath. Metal Gear Solid 4 is the continuation of the legendary Metal Gear series and utilizes a lot of cut scenes for narrative, which instead of being annoying simply augment the intricately woven storyline.
Snake is no longer the agile and nimble soldier he used to be and this may be his last outing as the protagonist of the series. Apart from the imminent feeling of no longer being able to see snake in the next installment of the game, the game mechanics are definitely something to write home about. The melee and gun play have been tweaked and each execution leaves a satisfying feeling. All in all, this is one game which simply is a MUST for all PS3 owners.

Statistics put sales of Metal Gear Solid 4 at around 4 million and counting. It enjoys a metacritic rating of unprecedented 10/10 which alone speaks volumes about this marvelous game.
Dark Souls
An RPG adventure game that puts the players smack middle in a terrifying world where you can die horrendously yet you are reluctant to simply turn away because you are so immersed and addicted to it! This is a short introduction of the phenomenal game that is my favorite on the entire list, a game called Dark Souls. My only complaint and also the most lovable feature about this game is the insane difficulty level which sometimes makes me want to quit playing in share frustration, but every time has me coming back again for more.

More precisely, Dark Souls is dungeon crawler with a third person perspective. The game contains standard elements of RPG; like picking a class and creating a character and then goes ahead in a world where almost each and every element is designed to kill in the most inventive of ways. Dark Soul varies from the standard RPG as it sets its own rules and regulations when it comes to games save and difficulty level. Dark Souls is obviously not for the faint of heart and those short on temper as it requires almost Zen like patience. You will die countless times make notes of that before you even start playing, oh and you shall be frightened!
