App Store Crosses 15 Billion

On 7th July, Apple proudly announced that more than 15 billion applications by more than 200 million iPad, iPhone and iPod touch users from the world from its App Store. There are over 425000 apps available and more than 100,000 iPad apps have been created by the developers. It has been three years since the App store was launched and it has now grown to be the most successful and exciting software marketplace and this truly is revolutionary.

When the ocarina experience was offered to users three years ago, a musical magic sparked and now magic Fiddle apps and magic piano have been created with iPad. One can create immersive and gorgeous games for the iPod as it is a great mobile device. Many popular magazines and books like Sesame Seeds, Martha Stewart etc. are being brought to the iPad. The iPad is a great revolution and the device is simple outstanding for storytelling but the success it has achieved since the time it was launched, is absolutely outstanding and unbelievable.

There are more than 425000 applications available on the App Store and more than 15 Billion have been downloaded till date. 100,000 Users in more than 90 countries have used the App Store to get some amazing downloads on their Apple devices. There is an incredible variety of Apps available in the store and one can get business, games, news, sports, education, reference, travel and health. Developers at Apple till date have been paid more than $2.5 billion.

Some of the best computers in the world are designed by Apple and Mac is a great example of these. In the music industry also iPods are the leaders and so is the store for iTunes. The iPhone is another revolution in the mobile phone industry and the iPad is also doing exceptionally well.
