iPad 2 Now Available in 12 Asian Countries

The second generation of iPad has already stormed the American market and has received a positive response from many people. However, now the iPad 2 is ready to storm the Asian market and it will be available in Japan from Thursday, April 28 and also in Hong Kong, Singapore and eight additional countries from Friday, April 29. The iPad 2 will be available at all Apple Authorized Resellers and will also be available on sale through their Apple website. Apart from that, iPad 2 with Wi-Fi will also be available in China from Friday, May 6.

iPad 2 has certainly gained a lot of positive response for being lighter and faster compared to the original iPad. The new iPad is 33% thinner and up to 15 % lighter than the iPad while it has the same 9.7 inch stunning LED backlit LCD screen. The biggest plus point for iPad 2 is the all new dual core A5 processor that can allow iPad 2 to give out some blazing fast performance and awesome graphics that can steal the show. The iPad 2 has two cameras now and the front facing camera is for FaceTime which was missing in the original iPad. Although, the iPad 2 is thinner and lighter it is certainly faster and can deliver 10 hours of battery life so that you can go on using iPad 2 without charging it all the time.

The new iPad 2 will be available with Wi-Fi in Japan on Thursday, April 28 and the day after in various other Asian countries like Hong Kong, India, Israel, Korea, Macau, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, South Africa, Turkey and UAE. The suggested retail price for iPad 2 in all Asian countries will be around $499 for 16GB model, $599 for 32GB model and $699 for 64GB model. iPad 2 with Wi-Fi and 3G will also be available and the suggested retail price will be $629 for 16GB model, $729 for 32GB model and $829 for 64GB model. The same price will be fixed for iPad 2 when it will release in China on May 6. Apple has not yet announce on when iPad 2 will be available internationally in other countries.
