Today, Amazon.com announced that they will be releasing a Kindle app for the Android mobile platform this summer. Users will be able to search 540,000 books, including 96 of 110 available New York Times Bestsellers.
The app will also have Amazon's Whispersync technology, which will allow Android users to sync their "last page read' between their Kindle and mobile device so that they never lose their place in their books.
