On number two, we have Hennessey Venom GT featuring a 1,244 horsepower engine that has a top speed of 270.49 mph. In 2014, the Hennessey Venom GT broke the 267.856 mph top speed record set by Bugatti Veyron Super Sport.

Looking for a hybrid sports car? Go for the Porsche 918 Spyder that can sprint from standstill position to 60 mph in just 2.2 seconds. The top speed is 214 mph.

For coupe fans, the infographic suggests the Nissan 350z Nismo with 155 mph top speed, while those in search of an affordable sports car might be interested in the Mitsubishi EVO VIII.
