Honda is looking more closely towards its European market from now on. As a result of this decision on the part of the company, Tom Gardner who was first heading the marketing team in UK has now been moved to Europe and placed as the head of the marketing team in Europe. He is looking to create a long standing marketing strategy for the continent and lead a bigger team to achieve more consolidated marketing goals as well.
As the media agency in Europe the appointed company is Starcom Mediavest. Also, the man who was in the marketing team in the UK, Ian Armstrong has now shifted base as the manager in European Communications. He will be looking at the creative side of things and creating campaigns for products in the market. There will be a modified version of the “Impossible Dream” advertisement which Honda had created.
