Jaguar decided to make an announcement of their new F-Type Project 7 while celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Jaguar D-Type that won at Le Mans three times and which is an inspiration for the new F-Type Project 7. The all new F-Type Project 7 will be the fastest and road legal two-seater roadster that Jaguar will work on in the future. The new sports car will be built by Jaguar Land Rover’s newly established Special Operations division. The all new supercar made a world debut in front of packed crowds at the Le Mans Classic.
The new supercar will be incorporated with 5.0 liter supercharged V8 gasoline engine that pumps out around 575PS and 680Nm of torque. The engine is mated with eight speed Quickshift transmission for better performance. The car offers top speed of 300 kmph and can speed from zero to 60 mph in 3.8 seconds. The vehicle will have all aluminum construction along with bespoke carbon fiber aerodynamics aids and unique suspension tune that will cut down around 80 kilograms of overall weight to enhance the performance. Jaguar will also make use of carbon ceramic brakes, Torque Vectoring by Braking and race inspired seats. While Jaguar has not mentioned the retail price of their supercar it is confirmed that the deliveries will begin from mid-2015.
