Body Fat Increases Health Risks Among People of normal weight

Excess of body fat can puts you in danger even if you are not overweight. Gain proper weight according to your height and age doesn’t mean that you are out of health risks. Obesity is the highlighted reason of health issues.

Studies found that even thin looking people also carry body fat known as normal weight obesity. The risky internal fat, also named as visceral fat, hides under the muscles and surrounds essential organs. The fat is metabolized by the liver, and transformed into blood cholesterol, which leads to an enlarged risk of medical conditions as high cholesterol, high blood pressure, heart disease, stroke, and diabetes.

According to the American Heart Association, heart disease or stroke is the main cause of death among women having normal weight obesity. Another study shows that between 20 and 30 % person having normal weight, are those who have high percentage of body fat.

To check your body fat, you can measure your waistline and conduct body fat test by asking your healthcare consultant. A percentage of body fat for women results more than men. Body fat can be reducing by eating a balance diet, regular exercise including confrontation training and cardiovascular activities and best selection and knowledge of diet you have.
