Glucose Intolerance Symptoms

Glucose intolerance is a more general problem than most people think. It is also known as impaired glucose intolerance or pre-diabetes.

Therefore, it is necessary to know whether you have glucose intolerance so that the problem may be diagnosed in the early stages. Steps can be taken to see that it is not make worse.  Glucose intolerance is generally referred to as pre-diabetes.

The glucose levels after eating in the blood increase due to carbohydrates and sugar consumption when a person eats food. The pancreas creates a hormone called as ‘insulin’ that helps in fascinating the glucose in the blood and swerve it into energy.

But the person who have glucose intolerant, there is a problem in either the making or the deliver of insulin into the blood torrent. Therefore, still after eating, the blood sugar levels keep on higher than what is made-up to be good for the body. This situation need not necessarily be diabetes.

The following are the symptoms of glucose intolerance symptoms. It helps you to diagnosis whether you are suffering from this glucose intolerance symptoms.

These are because of two types of diabetes. The following are the symptoms of glucose intolerance cause because of type1 diabetes

  • Frequent urination
  • Insulin resistance
  • Excessive hunger
  • Muscle cramping
  • Tingling in the limbs
  • Dark patches on skin, itching, rashes
  • Fatigue
  • Constantly feeling thirsty
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Head aches
  • Blurred vision
  • Rapid weight loss or weight gain
  • Irritability
  • Inability to focus

If these symptoms are not treated and take care of, other symptoms will cause because of the type2 diabetes. They are as follows:

Blurred vision

  • Lethargy
  • Constant itching of external genitalia
  • Erectile dysfunction in men
  • Vaginal dryness and premature menopause in women.

Persistent thirst:

One of the major signs of impaired glucose intolerance or pre-diabetes is a spiky increase in thirst. This condition is known as polydipsia. Polydipsia occurs if the sum of glucose in the blood inhibits the uptake of glucose from the urine. The changed composition of the urine decreases the sum of water that the kidneys reabsorb, resulting in abnormally large amounts of fluid lost in urination. The body becomes dehydrated, and too much thirst is triggered.

Blurry vision:

This is a common symptom of glucose intolerance. Individuals with impaired glucose intolerance frequently feel the harms with blurred vision that slowly increase over time. The origin of the problem is in eminent blood glucose concentrations: large sum of glucose in the blood can, over time, cause the lens inside the eye to become indistinct.

Excessive urination:

Excessive and frequent urination goes hand in hand with the lack of moisture and thirst caused by the high glucose concentration of the urine in persons with impaired glucose intolerance. Because large sum of fluid are being lost in the urine, the body requires additional fluids to make up for that loss: this in turn increases the require urinating often. Nocturia, or needing to get up during the night hours to urinate, is another feature of polyuria which characterizes impaired glucose intolerance. It is the obvious symptom of glucose intolerance.

Insulin resistance:

Insulin resistance is another general symptom of glucose intolerance. When the body creates sufficient sum of the pancreatic hormone, insulin this resistance condition will occur. But the cells of the body are disabling to react to the insulin levels correctly. Since insulin is important in the metabolism of glucose, a person with struggle ends up with large levels of both insulin and glucose in the bloodstream. There will be often dark patches of skin on necks, knees, elbows, or knuckles for the persons who are with this resistance condition.

Skin issues:

Skin issues are also the symptom of glucose intolerance. Skin is the main organ to get affected when the glucose intolerance starts to occur. The disability to course of action glucose can cause various issues with your skin. Rashes, infections and fungal growth like athlete’s foot are included in these skin issues. Healing after a cut or abrasion may also occur because of this issue. The skin will become dried out and prickly and you may see the beginning of skin ulcers.

Weight:

Rapid weight change in your body is the general sign of glucose intolerance. While affected by glucose intolerance, the disability to process the glucose in your body can result in quick weight change. According to your body condition, you may see a fast weight loss or weight gain.

These are the major symptoms of glucose intolerance or pre-diabetes. If you experience these symptoms, consult your care provider immediately as these signs may be the result of a bigger problem. Proper care should be taken to reduce these signs of glucose intolerance. Otherwise it causes severe problems to your body.
