Apple loses key chip executive

Apple has just one of the key men in its company very recently. Don Dobberpuhl is the PA semi founder at CEO. He has left the company to work with another firm which is also related to working with chips. Dobberpuhl had joined Apple when the company he was working for, was acquired by Apple for the sole reason that it was needed to make the startup chips for iPhones as well as iPods.

PA Semi was taken over by Apple in 2008, in the month of April. The sum paid was $278 million. There are no concrete sources which say where Dobberpuhl has gone or whether he is still at Apple or not. It is believed that he might have joined another startup company in chips called Agnilux in collaboration with Amarjit Gill. The latter is a retired principal of PA Semi.
