Sony has always been one of the best companies that come up with interesting consumer electronic products and now Sony has announced that they will explore the cloud based technologies to make things better for their consumers. The company has now made an announcement that they are launching PlayMemories Online which will be a free cloud based services that allows consumers to store their pictures and high definition videos online to enjoy it from any place at any time. The interesting thing about PlayMemories Online is that people can now click their pictures from their smartphones and digital cameras and upload it directly to PlayMemories Online rather than storing it.

Sony has also come up with an app that allows users to directly upload the pictures and HD videos from Xperia smartphones. This means that consumers no longer need to save their pictures to their memory cards or hard drives and transfer them to view it. These pictures are available on the cloud server which means that users can either store it or share it with their friends and family members. On the other hand it also cuts down the need for emailing the pictures because users can share the cloud server link and anybody can view the pictures online.
