Dubai Roaster Could Make its First Appearance at 2015 Dubai Auto Show

Lately on the internet, an anonymous designer published photos of next generation racing car, named ‘Dubai Roadster’. The car is said to be designed by an Emirati racer, while the name of racer was not disclosed. Many people are speculating these photos to be just another render on the internet. However, the pictures are accompanied with several specifications and facts about the ‘might-be’ upcoming race car.

Although UAE is one of the most favorite auto markets in the world, it has not yet stepped in to auto manufacturing. This could probably be the first ride to come out of a UAE workshop.

The car will be built on a chromoly tubular chassis with a weight below 750 kg. Moreover, it is also reported to carry a transversely mounted V8 engine with a capacity of 400 hp. That is not the only data associated with this whispered ride. The car may give a tough time to the likes of KTM X-Bow and BAC Mono.

As far as the overall look is concerned, it is quite clear in the multiple shots we have. The front end of Dubai Roadster seems to be derived from the latest Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. While on the back, there is a huge and high rear spoiler with classy rollover bars. Near the front wheels on both sides, appear the flag of UAE and Logo of Dubai Expo 2020.

Prior to this one, a Lebanese automaker W Motors revealed a super car named Lykan Hypersport in November last year. If it is a real deal, we could see it in the next Dubai Motor Show to be held in 2015, while the car may debut at Dubai Autodrome. Such developments in auto sports segment would definitely help the United Arab Emirates to further promote their motorsport industry.
